Booboo Stewart Makes Milkshakes for a Cause

Twilight Eclipse Star Booboo Stewart Joins Forces with Millions of Milkshakes to Benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association

Los Angeles., Aug. 28, 2010 – Actor, singer and martial arts expert Booboo Stewart will introduce his milkshake and meet fans at Millions of Milkshakes at Westfield Culver City Mall on Saturday, Aug. 28, 4 p.m. Twenty percent of the proceeds from the sales of the BooBoo Stewart shake on that day will go to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Booboo Stewart is the newest Celebrity Ambassador for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) and is also a member of MDA's "Muscle Team." He is currently appearing in the Association's "Make a Muscle, Make a Difference" print and video public service campaign. He joins a growing list of celebrities who are "flexing their muscles" to help children and adults affected by muscle diseases and advance MDA's lifesaving mission.

Joining Booboo at the event will be Jordan Balla, 13, of Tujunga, Calif. who has spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) and served as MDA’s 2008 California State Goodwill Ambassador.

Booboo Stewart plays the coveted fan favorite role of Seth Clearwater in the mega summer hit The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and will reprise his role in the forth coming The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 and 2.

Booboo is an accomplished actor, dancer, singer, musician, two time world karate champion and is one of the biggest breakout teen stars of the summer. He recently accepted the Teen Choice Award alongside his Twilight Saga cast members for "Favorite Cast" at the 2010 TCA's and is acclimating to his new life as a teen "heart throb".

Booboo currently tours with his sisters Fivel and Maegan Stewart and has two singles available on iTunes under the name Booboo & Fivel, "Rainy Day" and the recently released "You Don't Know Me.” He will next be seen in the family film Smitty opposite Mira Sorvino and Louis Gosset Jr and next be "heard" starring alongside Kellan Lutz in the anime DVD series “The Guardians of Luna.”

Booboo will begin shooting the indie feature (need title of super hero movie here if you want it added) this fall. It has just been announced that in 2011 Booboo will star with sister Fivel Stewart in a yet to be named family television series on the new Hub network launching on Oct.10, 2010.

"I'm excited to be making my own milkshake and helping to raise money for the MDA," said Booboo. "I hope everyone comes out for a milkshake and to support such an amazing cause!"
